Day 4: Aiden C

Day 4! Today, we started out by quickly preparing our dioramas, because in an hour we would go to the crafts store to get the colored paper needed for our dioramas. I worked on just finalizing mine and making sure that everything I wanted was in my diorama. I added a couple of colors working on the moon, and basically just made sure everything was up to date.

With that draft done, I took a picture of it with my phone, and we went to the art/crafts store. We spent some time and finally checked out, us in total checking out with about a hundred different pieces of paper in various colors, resulting in a receipt that was about 3 feet long. We brought our paper back, and I arranged mine in the shape of what my diorama would look like.

Once I had an idea of exactly what my diorama would look like, I formatted my design in illustrator a bit more to make sure that it looked great before I started cutting. I then printed and cut my background for my project, and I think it looks great!

With that done, I proceeded just to format my project, even more, to make it suitable for cutting. Sadly, I would not be able to get my project cut today, due to many students wanting to use the laser cutter, so I instead started cutting my styrofoam board, which I sadly do not have a picture of, but I cut 24 strips of it and it is now ready to be applied to my soon-to-be-made diorama.

Thanks for reading!

Aiden
